Global workspace provider Regus is opening a new facility at 63 St Mary Axe, in the heart of the City of London, further extending its network of flexible space in the capital.

The space occupies over 19,000 sq ft of the refurbished building's first and second floors and offers a range of flexible workspace, including a large, attractive co-working space, similar to those found at  Regus' other flagship locations in the News Building and 2 Kingdom Street in Paddington.

The first floor of the development opens tomorrow and houses the co-working space along with a number of serviced offices and meeting rooms, which are bookable by the hour. The second floor, which includes further offices and meeting rooms, is due to open on Friday 29th April.

Regus expects the space to attract a varied customer base including firms in the financial service, insurance and publishing sectors, as well as start-ups and individual co-workers.  The recently refurbished building's close proximity to Liverpool Street Station makes the location particularly convenient for commuters and business travellers.

Richard Morris, UK CEO at Regus said: "63 St Mary Axe is an exciting addition to our network and offers another high-quality, flexible facility in the heart of the City of London.

"The new centre is particularly well located, at the epicentre of the capital's financial district, and provides easy access to Liverpool Street Station, Leadenhall Market, and all the financial services, insurance and publishing companies in this vibrant part of the capital.

"Demand for our flexible workspace proposition is at an all-time high and we remain committed to expanding our global footprint, making business easier for our customers and helping them grow flexibly and cost-effectively."
