Startuptravels (www.startuptravels.com), a social network that connects entrepreneurs across the globe, has officially launched after a successful beta test.

The new platform enables like-minded business people to meet and connect, whether it is to arrange accommodation, workspace or to meet for a coffee.

Startuptravels has already attracted 9,300 entrepreneurs from 130 countries in 1,200 cities.

The team behind Startuptravels, Anders Hasselstrøm, Henrik Haugbølle and Rasmus Frandsen, are a group of entrepreneurs from Copenhagen, Denmark and have been developing the concept for the last year.

Until now the platform has been an invite-only community. A select group of entrepreneurs were chosen to help co-develop the platform and from this point on, the platform is open to the public.

Hasselstrøm said: "It was important for us to build up a core base of entrepreneurs before we took our product to the global marketplace. "Entrepreneurs have to travel to do business and this platform will enable them to connect with like-minded people in business hubs around the world.

Startuptravels is about connecting people and building relationships across borders and  has a huge community of entrepreneurs that loves to meet new people, inspire and be inspired."
