The UK is set for its biggest internet shopping day of the year, according to the Interactive Media in Retail Group.
The organisation estimates £320m will be spent online on Monday 8 December, with the peak time between 1pm and 2pm when many employees are on their lunch breaks.
IMRG estimates the total amount spent on the internet over Christmas will be £13.6bn as shoppers look away from the high street for bargains.
It is thought 5.2m consumers will make an internet purchase in the run-up to Christmas.
