Game.com another high street operator, is suffering badly from the twin spectres of the internet and supermarkets attacking it's market of video games and gaming consoles such as the Xbox. Digital downloads and inexpensive App games are not helping at all.

Shackled by £70 million worth of debt, the company has over 1200 stores around the globe employing 10,000 staff and they are trying to work out a solution that protects as many jobs as possible, though there is unlikely to be much value left in their shares, that have lost over 95% in the past year.

The last year's figures are expected to show a loss to January of around £18 million and the current share price values the company at just over £4 million.
