John Roberts, the entrepreneur behind Appliances Online, has tabled a bid that will see Comet become just an on-line business and would like a quick sale. The entrepreneur believes that Comet would be unlikely to survive on retail parks and blamed the poor attitude of Comet to its customers as one of the reasons for the company downfall.
