Small businesses can now purchase bespoke, comprehensive insurance cover over the internet after the launch of a service dedicated to the sector.

Oval Insurance Broking is offering policies it claims are designed to meet the insurance needs of smaller enterprises, including a general business policy and exclusive policies for retailers, contractors, offices, property owners and commercial vehicles.

“The pressures on small businesses are immense, and finding enough time to shop around for their insurance cover is often a challenge,” said Anita Watson, SME divisional director at Oval.

Oval’s SME policies are underwritten by Allianz Insurance.
