The OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) has upgraded it's forecast for UK growth for 2014. This is while downgrading the overall global growth estimates for 2014 from 4% to 3.6%.

The UK is now expected to produce economic growth of 2.4%, up from 2.2% next year with this year also revised upwards from 0.8% to 1.4%.

These figures confirm an improving economic landscape and growing confidence by company owners and business leaders, that should set the stage for a more stable and predictable economic environment in the UK for 2014.

Companies looking to expand are already seeing the UK as the place to be, with major US companies opening up here, to ride on the raft of good economic news coming out in the last two quarters and the growth revision by the OECD, is the largest upward, not just amongst out European neighbours but by any of the senior economic powers globally.
