With lower inflation (1.5%) and lower UK unemployment figures announced this week, confirming the strenth of the UK recovery, only the Vote for Scottish independence can now spoil the party. Any breakaway and the uncertainty that might bring,  will have an impact  on the financial stability of  all four countries, the stockmarket and the value of sterling.

However, for now we are concentrating on the positive UK Unemployment data announced by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) which for the last quarter  is 6.2%, with over 146,000 people removed from the rolecall of unemployed, now standing at  just over 2 million.
