The race is on to find the fastest company in London. The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay - co-sponsored by Karrimor - is back for its ninth year on Thursday 17th September.

The capitals finest will exchange their business suits for sportswear as they prepare to take on the challenge of pounding ten miles of city streets - and there's still time to register if you want to enter.

The Bloomberg Square Mile Relay first started in London in 2007, which has since then gone global with similar events taking place in Singapore from 2013 and Hong Kong in 2014.

Over 100 teams representing top companies and corporations are expected to take part, with each team member running at least a mile before passing the baton to a colleague.

Karrimor is the official Sportswear Partner to the race and will be supplying a commemorative T-shirt to every competitor.

Leanne Leitch of Karrimor  said: "This is a fantastic event that sees the best of the city come together to watch the race and celebrate afterwards. The winners will be presented with a £5000 cheque, made out to the charity of their choice, at the beautiful Race Village in Guildhall Yard. This is also where the race will start and finish.
