The Government has assembled a taskforce of key representatives that includes the police, National Fraud Intelligence bureau, Bank of England and the top guy in all the major banks. The key aims are to prevent the public becoming victims of fraud and through the sharing of knowledge to catch the criminals involved.

It is a real heavy weight initiative co-chaired by the Lord Mayor of London and the Home secretary.
