The online programme aims to provide designers, creatives, marketers, entrepreneurs, and students with tried and tested techniques for generating strong creative ideas.

100% of the course's proceeds will go towards funding scholarship places for the SCA's 10-month course, helping to fulfil the SCA's ongoing mission to provide a creative education for a diverse array of students who would otherwise lack the money and resources to participate.

Comprising six video lessons, two live streams, and special guest lecturers, the course is designed to allow participants to work at their own pace, with the opportunity to attend the SCA's programme of live events across the year.

The course also equips its students with homework and assessments, a wealth of recommended reading, and personalised emails and conversations with Marc Lewis, Dean of SCA 2.0.

In addition to the wealth of experience in creative pedagogy provided by Marc Lewis, the Creativity Unleashed teachers include Patrick Collister, ex-Head of Design at Google, Deanna Rodger, a poetry slam champion featured as one of ELLE UK's ‘30 Inspirational Women under 30,' and SCA alumnus Marcela Tarable, freelance creative for Facebook.

Split into six unique categories, the course covers topics including ‘The Four Rs of Divergent Thinking', in which participants are asked to practice techniques pertaining to ‘re-expression,' and ‘Mess Finding,' in which students are challenged to find problems and seek out the opportunities they create.

Marc Lewis, Dean of the School of Communication Arts, said:

Creativity is a skill that can be developed with guided practice, and it's something that everyone would benefit from.

Ultimately, creativity is about problem solving, and then expressing those ideas in ways that connect and resonate with others. That's obviously a superpower for anyone entrepreneurial, or anyone working for an organisation, or any parent, or any child.

We can all benefit from improving our creative muscles, and it's really easy to train an open mind.

Headquartered in Brixton, the SCA is known for its vast collection of prestigious advertising awards, including multiple D&AD Pencils and - in the last awards season alone - eight Cream awards.

Offering in-person or online teaching, the SCA boasts an impressive success rate, with 80% of its students going on to work for a creative agency in roles like copywriting and art direction within six months of completing the School's 10-month portfolio course.
