Home business start-ups have grown by 16% in the last year according to the second annual Enterprise Nation report.

This increase means that there are over 2.5m registered home business in the UK, although the actual number of home businesses is estimated to be more than three times this figure.

The most rapid growth in this industry occurred in the north-west and the south-east of the UK.
