Conservative leader David Cameron has unveiled a host of measures designed to help small businesses.

Cameron has said that a Conservative government would increase the insolvency threshold and reduce the number of days it takes to get a new business started.

Under the current law the government can bankrupt companies that have unpaid taxes of over £750, a threshold that the Tories will raise to £5,000.
Cameron also said that he would make it easier for entrepreneurs to start new businesses by cutting red tape and allowing them to register their firm online.

"It takes 13 to 14 days to start a business in this country, in America it's half as long. We have the ambition of making us one of the fastest countries in the world to start a new business," said Cameron.
