Apple apologise for iPhone slowing updates

There has been a huge amount of loyalty over the years surrounding the new launch of any iPhone with well publicised queues at Apple outlets on launch day. However, the recent admission that they have been deliberately updating older phones with software that slows the functions of older models, has been met with universal outrage, confirming what many users have thought was happening for years.

Their reason, to extend the battery life of older I-phones, may have elements of truth in it but as the inhibiting of their smartphones, seems to coincide with all singing, all dancing launches of new model iPhones, the conclusion that they have been doing this to encourage existing clients to upgrade, is inevitable.

With their backs very much against the wall here, Apple have apologised and are looking at cutting a very expensive replacement battery price to appease those that can't afford the top smartphone prices - for the phone and any accessories. An update to the iPhone operating system has been announced for early 2018.

American Lawyers have moved fast to round up groups of Apple iPhone users that have suffered from Apple's actions, that have damaged.... and will continue to damage, client trust and their good name for some time.

Not a good time to lose client respect when your competitors have caught up with your technology and giants like Google have waded into the Smartphone arena, to join Samsung in the fight to sell you the computer in your pocket, that happens to make phone calls.
