Nationwide warns of further house price fall in 2009

SME workers take less sick leave than staff at large firms
Employees in small businesses are less likely to take time off work sick than workers in larger organisations, according to research published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Barrel of oil drops to lowest price in 20 months
Oil prices have fallen to less than $60 a barrel, the lowest price for over 20 months. This fall will further reduce inflationary pressures following the Bank of England and other Central bank's decisions to cut interest rates. Unemployment in the UK has reached an 11-year high, with the number of people out of work rising by 140,000 to 1.82m.
