Bakkavor is the UK's leading provider of fresh prepared food with 23 manufacturing sites across the UK and we're celebrating National Apprenticeship week with the launch of our award-winning 2023 Apprenticeship Programme.

We're looking for 80 enthusiastic individuals to join us in September 2023 and become our leaders of the future, including at least 30 apprenticeships in Engineering and 10 in Manufacturing. There are also other roles available across Finance, HR, Food Technology, Business Administration, SHE (Safety Health & Environment), Supply Chain and Continuous Improvement. The Programme provides opportunities to gain Higher or Advanced Apprenticeships.

The roles will be based at Bakkavor sites across the UK, including Scotland, Wigan, London, Lincolnshire, Newark, Somerset and Kent.

The apprenticeship roles provide real responsibility from day one, contributing to key business activities and projects, while also allowing for time to study towards a nationally recognised qualification. There is also the opportunity to develop valuable life skills through involvement in local community and charity initiatives and visiting schools as Apprentice Ambassadors.

Our Apprenticeship Programme is industry-leading, named TheJobCrowd's Top Company for Apprentices to work for in Consumer Goods and FMCG for the past two years, and reflects our commitment to developing the next generation of talent in our business.

Donna-Maria Lee, Chief People Officer at Bakkavor, said: "As the UK's leading provider of fresh prepared food, we aim to attract and develop the best talent in the business. We're extremely proud of our award-winning Apprenticeship programme as it offers a broad range of opportunities for people interested in starting a career with us, in a fast-moving and dynamic business."

Applications for Bakkavor's 2023 Apprenticeships open on 6 February 2023. For more information, please visit www.bakkavor.com/careers.
