Anita Wong, really does do it all - she is mother to four daughters, Olivia (18), Katherine (15), Dana and Lara (13), runs her own business and is a BMX champion. There is no denying that Anita is tough, but is she the toughest mother in the UK?

Anita, from Ealing, London, is one of three women shortlisted in the final of the ŠKODA UK ‘Tough Mother' competition.

She first got into BMX cycling after her father bought her first Raleigh Burner bike when she was a young girl. When her daughter Lara showed an interest in BMX cycling, Anita joined her on the track and fell back in love with the sport. Both Lara and Anita are now set to compete in the European Championships.

Anita said: "It would mean a lot to me to win the Tough Mother title. I started cycling when I was younger but since having my children I lost my passion. With Lara taking up the sport, it reignited my competitive spirit and led me to go on to compete. I'm in the best shape of my life and I want to be an example to my daughters, that you can work hard, be a great mum and still make time for your own passions."

Anita's family have all helped and supported her entry into the competition.

Kit Wong, Anita's husband, said, "As soon as Anita showed me the post about the competition from ŠKODA, it was obvious to me she had to enter. Not only is she an amazing mother to our daughters, but she leads the way in showing them that through hard work and dedication, you can really push yourself. To be a BMX champion you must show discipline and grit, so she is definitely the toughest mother in my eyes!"

Anita has been shortlisted alongside Ania Czerminska, a firefighter and weightlifter who lives in Milton Keynes and Shirin Shabestari, a mountaineer and rock climber from South East London.

The winning mother will receive £1,000 cash and £1,000 spend towards equipment for their specific hobby.

All three women were treated to a VIP filming day in a new ŠKODA Octavia Scout, which is perfectly suited to the demands of family life and extreme sports because of its ability to transport large amounts of kit and reach remote locations. The Scout Estate boasts a class-leading boot capacity of 1,740 litres with the seats down, off-road functionality and rough-road package. It is priced from £26,685 on-the-road.
