Angela Merkel supports Euro

Not reallly a surprise that Angela Merkel would come out with a statment that backs the Euro during a visit to Canada and supports Mario Draghi, the ECB President's statment, to do whatever is necessary to support the Euro.

However in markets looking for some good news, European markets have risen at the opening but there is plenty of talk around and no action taking place that bulls can hang a decent run on, so markets are likely to be quite thin with low trading volumes before the weekend.
