British airways dispute resolved

British Airways have finally resolved the dispute with it's cabin crew that has run for 18 months and cost them a small fortune in lost revenue and custom.

Unite, representing the staff at the centre of the problem, said 92% of it's members voted in favour of the settlement  and they have reached an "honourable agreement".

With amazing timing, given the BA announcement, staff at Virgin Atlantic are considering the first strike in 27 years, maybe not so surprising though, because any possible strike is planned for July which of course is the holiday season, where any walkout has maximum effect.

At this time however actual strike dates have not been announced.
