Entrepreneur Week commences Nov 16th
Small business owners have been reminded that Global Entrepreneurship Week commences on the 16th of November.
Leading serviced office provider MWB Business Exchange (MWBex), the official venue partner of Global Entrepreneurship Week UK, is offering event organisers free space in its Meeting Venues around the UK to run activities during the Week via a competition.
Organisers who want to run events in London, Manchester or Edinburgh simply need to fill in an application form on the website www.gew.org.uk explaining why their event represents the spirit of Global Entrepreneurship Week and send it in by 29 October for a chance to win.
Enterprise Week has been running in the UK since 2004 and last year became part of a wider global movement - Global Entrepreneurship Week, which took place in 77 countries.
"A thriving, can-do enterprise culture is part of what makes Britain a great place to do business. Global Entrepreneurship Week is important because it inspires a whole new generation of budding entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into reality," said Sir Alan Sugar.
The event last year was attended by just under 650,000 people in the UK and this year's event will see workshops and speeches up and down the country.
