Half of small business owners experience 'less stress'

More than half of small business owners say that they feel less tense since starting their own company, according to research by insurance firm Premierline Direct.

Over 80% of SME owners reported that their stress levels had not changed since they began running their company and over a third of those surveyed said that they had a better work-life balance and spend more time with their family and friends.

"It's great to hear that business owners are reaping the rewards of being their own boss. Starting a business takes a lot of hard work and provides many challenges, but owners can remove unnecessary strain by ensuring they use reliable and knowledgeable service providers," said Chris Little, managing director of Premierline Direct.
