Libya close to rebel control

Libyan rebels are holding key parts of Tripoli as the battle to topple the 42 year reign of Gadaffi, is now being fought in the country's capital of Tripoli. 

Colonel Gadaffi is believed to be still in the city.

The recent battles have been bloody with many casualties and fighting rages as troops loyal to the Government hold out in strategic positions, though the rebels seem to be in control and anticipate victory.

This is very much a last act scenario now and the final curtain should be falling for Gadaffi and his sons very soon.
