Business Advice for all UK firms from starting a business to flotation
Small firms still marketing
Small businesses plan to increase their marketing spend in the next year despite the recession, according to a survey conducted by YouGov.
The survey of almost 1,000 small firm owners revealed that 38% will invest more in marketing to try and boost their businesses.
"These results highlight how UK SME owners are not panicking in their attitudes to marketing during the current economic downturn, and are budgeting for the long term as well as the short," said Officejet Brand Manager Beth de Avila.
The research also revealed that 40% of firms used print as a primary form of advertising and 60% online, with the only significant other format listed by respondents being event based advertising.
