TripAdvisor purchase Jetsetter

Omnipresent travel advice and review site TripAdvisor has officially announced the purchase of luxury travel site Jetsetter.  Jettsetter is a members only luxury travel service from Gilt Groupe. Trip Advisor has chosen not to disclose the exact figure, but it is thought to be no more than the earlier suggested $50 million when the brand was first put up for sale in October of last year. 

Jetsetter will seemingly continue to operate as a separate brand for now, but Trip Advisor has not yet detailed their plans for the future of the company.
