Job appointments for permanent positions in the UK declined at the slowest rate for over a year, according to a survey by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG. Banks will no longer be allowed to send out unsolicited credit card cheques or raise credit card limits without the prior written permission of the account holder.
