Focused on enabling financial institutions, EMI's, multi-nationals, and large corporates in the emerging world to gain access to banking systems that understand their geographic need, Tintra is on a mission to democratise financial regulation and level the playing field between emerging markets and advanced economies.

With acute insight into the challenges experienced in emerging countries, the new Tintra Foundation has been established to both understand and protect the World's last remaining Hunter-Gatherer Tribes, who remain key to keeping natural evolution alive.

Led by Johan Ernst Nilson, perhaps the world's best known explorer, Adventure Activist and Philanthropist - who has successfully completed over 60 expeditions across 179 countries - the Foundation is representative of Tintra's commitment to the emerging world and has seen it pledge $2m to the Foundation as a primary endowment, with more to follow.

Richard Shearer, CEO of Tintra PLC, explained: "Over the last 5 - 6 months, we have accelerated our position as an innovative and forward-thinking fintech company that is committed to revolutionising the global banking industry and making access to the global marketplace as seamless in Africa or Asia as it is in Europe or the United States.

However, we also recognise that whilst there are those in these markets that wish to have the interconnectedness we have in the west, these emerging countries are also home to the last remaining Hunter-Gatherer Tribes, who wish to retain their own unique, non-modern lifestyle and continue to live long, happy lives within their communities.

Yet, these tribes are sadly at risk of becoming eradicated or worse still modernised, which would eliminate any remaining links to human past. The Tintra Foundation has been developed to pledge funds and resource to understanding, supporting, and increasing awareness of who they are and their way of life - where lessons, like true sustainable living, could be key to our own survival. I am personally incredibly excited about the initiative and feel this reinforces our commitment to the markets in which we operate."

The launch of the Tintra foundation comes just weeks after Tintra announced its Joint Venture with award-winning Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning business, TMC2, via its subsidiary Finsensr, to utilise or create advanced end-to-end AI tech that will revolutionise how compliance between developed and emerging market economies works.

The Tintra Foundation plans to announce additional Board Members in early 2022.

Tintra PLC is publicly listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange and also available on the OTCQB Venture Market in New York.
