YOVOY is a new tech-enabled same-day delivery platform built to connect drivers and senders directly, making delivery fairer, faster and more flexible. Founded by logistics industry leader Isabella Wayte, YOVOY is shaking up a sector that hasn't evolved in decades, bringing transparency, control and trust back to both sides.
NB: Starting a business in the delivery sector where global players are very present is a bold move. What prompted it?
IW: It
doesn't really matter who the big global players are, what matters is that the
industry is crying out for change. I've worked in logistics my whole career.
I'm hands-on with it every single day, from understanding how drivers operate,
to what businesses actually need when something goes wrong. I've seen firsthand
how outdated so many parts of this sector are.
It desperately needs shaking up. The systems, the communication, the way
drivers and senders connect, most of it hasn't moved on in decades. YOVOY was
built to fix that. It's not about competing with the big names; it's about
modernising a space that's been left behind and building something that finally
works for both sides.
NB: How long has it taken to get launch-ready?
IW: It's
been about two years getting YOVOY to this point, but that's because we built
it properly. Around what people actually need, not what we thought they should
have.
I've spent enough time in this industry to know drivers and senders both have
the same frustrations. Poor communication, middlemen slowing things down and no
control over what happens once a job's booked. So we started by fixing that.
For businesses, YOVOY gives instant access to reliable delivery without long
contracts or minimums. They can post a job, pick a driver and track everything
in real time. No chasing updates, no waiting around.
For drivers, it's about fairness. They see every job upfront, choose when and
where they work, get paid within seven days and keep more of what they earn.
There's no middle layer taking a cut or deciding what they can and can't do.
In short, YOVOY gives both sides what they've been missing. Control, trust and
a better way to work together.
NB: Is YOVOY UK-wide?
IW: We're
already operating across most of the UK and growing every single day. Because
YOVOY isn't built around depots or fixed routes, we can expand wherever the
demand is. Every day we're onboarding new drivers and new senders, which means
coverage just keeps building naturally.
But it's not about just finding a driver, it's about finding the right driver
with the right vehicle for the job. There's no point sending a small van for a
large item or wasting half a day trying to make something fit. YOVOY gets that
right from the start.
And for the drivers, the tech finally works in their favour. It helps them find
return work, so they're not sat in a layby scrolling through apps hoping
something local appears. That means less wasted time, less fuel and more money
in their pocket. Which is exactly how it should be.
We're growing in the right way. One driver, one sender, one successful delivery
at a time.
NB: Talk me through the benefits to the smaller SME
IW: For
smaller businesses, deliveries can make or break a day. I've seen it countless
times - your own driver hasn't turned up, a carrier didn't collect, or you've
got something urgent or fragile that just needs to get there. It's stressful,
unpredictable, and costs time and money.
And as we move into peak, SMEs are usually the first to get dropped to the
bottom of the pile with traditional carriers. That doesn't happen with YOVOY.
Every sender has the same access to drivers and visibility, no matter their
size or volume.
YOVOY gives them control, flexibility and reliability - three things that have
been missing for years. They can post a job in minutes, choose who collects it,
and track it from start to finish. No chasing updates, no waiting on someone to
call back, and no being forgotten when things get busy.
Whether it's a last-minute cover, a full load, or a delicate item that needs
extra care, they can find the right driver for it straight away, without
contracts, minimums, or hidden fees.
We've built YOVOY so smaller businesses can finally operate like the big
players, just without the overheads or the stress.
NB: And for the drivers?
IW: Drivers
finally get treated like people. not numbers on a system. I've spent enough
time around them to know the reality: sitting in a layby waiting for work to
appear, being underpaid or sometimes never paid at all, or being told what jobs
they can and can't take. It's exhausting and it's been normalised for too long.
YOVOY puts that control back in their hands. They choose when and where they
work, see every job upfront, distance, price, sender, and decide what suits
them. There's no middle layer or hidden cuts.
We keep it simple and fair, £10.99 a month and a 5% commission. They get paid
within seven days, not weeks, and the platform also helps them find return
work, so they're not wasting time or money driving empty.
But above all, YOVOY gives drivers respect and consistency. When they feel
trusted and valued, they deliver better service. That's exactly what's been
missing from this industry.
NB: How is 2026 looking for YOVOY?
We're not a carrier, we're something completely
different. YOVOY is changing how same-day delivery works, full stop.
The same-day sector hasn't really moved on since the 1970s, when my dad was out
there doing same-day deliveries on his motorbike. The technology, the
communication, the mindset, it's all been stuck. We're bringing dinosaurs into
the jet age.
What we're building is a ground-breaking platform that connects people
directly. Drivers, businesses and customers, without all the layers that slow
everything down. It's transparent, fast and fair for everyone involved.
As we head into 2026, it's about scaling that change properly. Every day we're
onboarding more drivers, more senders and more sectors who see what we see,
that this industry is ready for a shake-up.
This will be a game-changer. Not just for YOVOY, but for the
whole same-day delivery market.
