The new centre in Luanda, the capital, means that Angola becomes the latest country worldwide to have a Regus workspace. It also comes at an exciting time with Angola looking to grow and diversify its economy.

The third-biggest sub-Saharan economy, and one of Africa's leading oil producers, is going through a period of significant change. The worldwide low oil prices are speeding up the Angolan government's efforts to diversify the economy and while challenges undoubtedly remain, there are exciting opportunities. According to the African Development Bank[i], Angola's economy will have grown by 2.3% by the end of 2017, and will grow by a further 3.2% in 2018. With a population of just over 29 million, agriculture, renewable energy, infrastructure and education are among the many sectors seeking expertise, investment and growth. Regus' new centre will benefit companies of all sizes and industries as well as facilitate increased economic activity in the country.

"We are delighted that Angola has become part of the Regus global network," says Rui Duque, the Regus Country Manager for Angola. "Flexible workspaces are rapidly gaining popularity around the world, and becoming an essential part of a modern country's business infrastructure. We've been experiencing high interest from local and international businesses willing to establish a footprint in Angola, and also from companies that need to rationalise and downsize unused resources, namely office space. As a result, we are looking forward to opening additional centres not only in Luanda, but across the whole country to support Angola's growing economy."

The first Regus centre in Angola is an ultra-modern office space set over the whole of the sixth floor of the Cuanza Sul Tower, an attractive, brand-new building in Talatona, a business district and a prime location 20 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from downtown Luanda. The Talatona Centre provides a unique and exciting working environment to suit the needs of small and large businesses alike. It is fitted out with world-class IT and telecoms infrastructure, has 77 offices of varying sizes, two meeting rooms including a boardroom, and a business lounge. The centre also offers Virtual Offices, which provide businesses with a prestigious address in the capital, as well as call-answering services and mail forwarding, even if they are based elsewhere.

Regus workspaces enable business to operate anywhere, improve their financial performance and enhance their productivity with a fully outsourced office solution. Being part of the Regus network also gives businesses access to a community of over 1.5 million like-minded professionals worldwide. Through monthly networking and knowledge-sharing events, for example, Regus customers are able to explore new business opportunities, enhance capabilities, and stimulate cultural change and further innovation. Regus has launched its new centre in Angola with ‘All Inclusive' pricing whereby clients pay one monthly fee, making life much easier and allowing them to focus on what matters most - their own business.
