Bristol entrepreneur, Jen Wagstaff has found the answer. The ‘Top Performer Journal' is a powerful new daily planner from CreativeMind to help sales teams build winning habits. The journal stems from Jen's own top-performing career in sales, where she trained some of the world's biggest brands to deliver greater sales results. Jen created the Top Performer Journal to help sales teams get back to basics, focus on what matters and achieve high performance through continual reflection and growth.

CreativeMind are raising money on Kickstarter to get the Top Performer Journal to as many salespeople as possible. After reaching her initial goal of £10,000 in four days, Jen is now aiming to raise a further £5,000. This will enable her to run a series of free workshops for young business owners in association with the Prince's Trust. Jen Wagstaff: a complete sales transformation

The Top Performer Journal is the brainchild of Jen Wagstaff. The journal offers a clear and actionable sales strategy, developed by Jen throughout her rich history in sales. Today, Jen is an internationally renowned sales trainer with tens of thousands of hours of Association of Coaching accredited coaching. But it wasn't always that way.

Aged 18, Jen was a dreadlocked raver, with 16 piercings and a fanatical interest in psy-trance music. Then one day, she decided it was time for a change, and entered the world of sales. Over the course of two years, she transformed herself into one of the top 5% of sales people worldwide at FedEx Express.

At just 24 she was promoted to sales facilitator, responsible for creating training materials for thousands of employees across EMEA. If it takes 10,000 hours to master something, Jen has become a sales training master many times over.

But throughout her extensive sales training experience, Jen began to notice something was limiting the success of salespeople worldwide. She found that although sales training events can leave sales teams motivated and driven for a few days, their effects often don't last. Soon the participants get caught up in day-to-day work, forget their good intentions and resort back to their old habits.

She saw that salespeople needed a tool that would encourage consistency and good habit forming, as well as building a clear strategy and positive mindset. And so, the Top Performer Journal was born.

But how does it work?

The Top Performer Journal

The journal is based on the three things Jen noticed all great salespeople have in common: a focused strategy, a powerful mindset and great daily habits. Throughout the journal, Jen offers advice and exercises for how you can achieve all three. Here's some you can have right now:

1.     Strategy

The Top Performer Journal is about thinking for success. It encourages you to break your goal down into manageable weekly targets. Jen calls it ‘pimping up and breaking down'. Pimp up your goal to your dream figure, break it down into weekly bite-sized chunks, then focus on "A-list" prospects that will help you achieve it.

2.     Mindset

Too many people try to succeed by doing things in sales without ever checking how they are thinking about things. But our mindset actually has the biggest impact on our success in sales. The Top Performer Journal encourages a mindset of positivity. Approach sales conversations with an attitude of ‘How can I help this person?', rather than one of fear, apology or even trying to sell. Value yourself as a prize, and your

prospects will be more confident in you. Expect the outcome you want rather than the outcome you fear and you are far more likely to get it.

  3.    Habits

Embed these principles into your daily life and craft the right rituals for success. Turning yourself into a winning sales person is about consistent growth and daily reflection. Keep track of your habits and identify which are helpful and unhelpful to your sales development. Keep track of your progress and take time to do something you really enjoy every single day.

But the Top Performer Journal doesn't just tell you how to build a great strategy, mindset and habits. The journal makes it all about you. It asks you to create your own habits, work on your own mindset and define your own strategy. Then it allows you to track, develop and enhance each area in the way that is right for you.

100% of salespeople who have already had the chance to use the Top Performer Journal on a daily basis found it helpful in achieving their sales goals. Here's what some of them are saying:

"Fantastic journal, with great and creative ideas, bringing professional and private life together. Helps you think out of the box, become structured and keep a much healthier balance."

Diana Zeller, Sales Manager, FedEx

"The Top Performer Journal is a beautiful sales bible that helps you embed the habits of success into your daily routine."

Emma Black, Account Manager, NPW
