At this year's annual guide to health and happiness in the workplace, the roster of luminaries include: Lord Hunt, the Shadow Health Spokesperson and Shadow Deputy Leader of the House of Lords; Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, Britain's greatest Paralympics athlete and Professor Stephen Clift, professor of health education in the faculty of health and social care, Canterbury Christ Church University.

Brett Hill, director of The Health Insurance Group, sponsors of the exhibition said: "Now in its fourth year, the symposium is fast gaining a reputation as the industry's foremost health and wellbeing event in the UK calendar. From mental health in the workplace to government wellbeing policy, obesity and resilience, delegates will get here the latest thinking and advice from leading wellbeing professionals."

A series of workshops are planned in the afternoon while various therapies and activities - from yoga to self-check health kiosks - will be available throughout the day. The Health Insurance Group is hosting a session on technology and how it is changing the way people can access healthcare.

"There are so many wellbeing initiatives that could transform lives in the workplace and community, and improving technology is increasingly playing a part in setting that agenda," continued Hill. "From ‘wearables' - smart devices worn on the body to collate health information for monitoring our heart rates, sleep patterns and mood indicators - to big data analytics, that provide health insights and targeted patient care, our own demonstration provides a glimpse of how technology could improve wellbeing and the delivery of healthcare."
