Specialist environmental consultancy, Logika Group, has appointed experienced industry leader, Tim Curtis, as its first Non-Executive Director [NED] to drive its next stage of growth.

At the forefront of environmental strategy, design and assessment, Logika Group boasts a 30+ year track record in improving and delivering sustainable outcomes for both public and private sector organisations, by integrating environmental objectives at the heart of all projects and developing policy to enhance environmental protection in the UK, Europe and beyond.

A seasoned consultancy leader with a strong strategic, commercial, and financial background, Tim Curtis joins Logika Group in a NED role following a 16-year stint with global environmental and engineering consultancy, Ricardo, which included 7 years as Managing Director.

At Ricardo, Tim was responsible for the Energy and Environment division, where he successfully led a team of people across 15 locations in the UK and overseas, fostering a collaborative and supportive company culture while integrating new services, solutions, and propositions - which enabled him to double the size of the business to 800 people.

Over the last year, Tim has been working as an independent consultant where he has been supporting both commercial and non-for-profit organisations with strategic advisory, change management and operational development challenges.

In joining Logika Group as its first NED, Tim will be working closely with its Senior Leadership team to drive its next stage of growth, where he will play a fundamental role in enhancing service offering, driving international expansion, and implementing strategy to aid the diversification and progression of the Group.

This announcement follows an exciting period of progression for Logika Group, having increased turnover and headcount by 25% within the last 12 months alone.

Chris Whall, Board Director of Logika Group, confirmed: "Over the last 4-5 years, Logika Group has evolved into one of the UK's leading environmental consultancies, underpinned by our growing team of nearly 100 experts who specialise in environmental policy, strategy, design and assessment.

With shared ambition to advance our proposition and drive growth on an international scale, we felt it was the right time to appoint our first Non-Executive Director and are delighted to welcome Tim to the Board. We will now work closely with Tim to develop and execute on this strategy while firmly cementing the Logika name as ‘go to' global environmental specialists."
