Do business in heavenly surroundings
The heavenly alternative to Dragons' Den is the Angels Den Theatre. This area will give developing and growing companies the opportunity to enter the Den in a bid to achieve funding. Not only will the Theatre allow individuals to speed pitch their business ideas to a panel of venture capitalists in the hope of gaining investment, but it will also provide a combination of informative seminars and networking and question sessions.

This opportunity takes place over both days of Business Yorkshire and offers a variety of formats for businesses to present, including a three minute speed pitch option. This comprises a three minute presentation of ideas and financial requirements followed by a one minute question and answer session, where the investor has the chance to quiz the contestant. It's then on to the next Angel on the panel before the investors choose the idea they want to support.

Networking
On the first day of Business Yorkshire, exhibitors and visitors will be able to relax and mingle in the Network Cafe. The region's biggest networking opportunity will start at 5:30pm and provides the perfect platform for connecting with those who have a head for business. It also gives attendees the chance to relax and enjoy a drink after a busy day.

Speed networking will also take place over the two days, where participants have 60 seconds to promote their business and exchange information with the person opposite before moving onto the next person. There is no substitute for meeting people face to face so this really is the best way to network quickly and pick up a lot of business cards.

Scott Hider, Managing Director of Business Yorkshire, comments, "We are hugely excited about the launch of Business Yorkshire in October.
