Flexible working tops staff wish list
Small business owners should consider implementing flexible working
hours to boost their employees' morale, according to a survey conducted
by Kellogg's.
The research revealed that 41% of staff listed more flexible working hours as the one change they would like in their job while 33% cited greater financial incentives to encourage harder work and 19% want the ability to work remotely.
90% of managers who have initiated team-building programmes have seen a benefit from it in terms of team rapport, while one in ten say they have seen evidence of it delivering a result to the bottom line in terms of financial performance and enhanced efficiency. Despite the business benefits that team-building exercises can bring only half of the managers surveyed have undertaken such events with their team.
