Eureka moment
The idea for Full Send Racing Lounge came from recognising a gap between
professional motorsport and everyday fans. Racing is immersive, competitive and
social, yet access is limited. My eureka moment was realising that high-end sim
racing could recreate that experience and make motorsport more inclusive, while
building a community around it in Portsmouth.
Finance
Coming from motorsport, financial discipline has always been essential. Full
Send was launched with a lean mindset, focusing on smart investment rather than
scale from day one. Revenue is diversified through memberships, events and
corporate bookings. The approach mirrors racing and maximises performance with
the resources available.
Regrets
If I have one regret, it's waiting too long to start. I spent time overthinking
risk rather than accepting that mistakes are part of progress. Once momentum
builds, confidence follows.
What would you have
changed?
I would have started marketing the business sooner and getting the Full Send
name into the world earlier. This would have helped us hit the ground running
rather than doing it all once we opened the doors.
